Watermark Image
Put your name or logo on photos — in a corner, the centre, or repeated across the picture — at the size and strength you choose, one or many at once.
Drop pictures here, or choose them. JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP; HEIC and AVIF where your browser opens them.
Watermark
A watermark in a corner can be cropped off; repeated across the picture it cannot, without spoiling it.

About this tool
What it does
Watermark Image puts your name, website or logo on photos before you share them, so they carry your mark wherever they go. Type the text — a copyright line, a shop name, a handle — and pick its colour, or choose your logo as a picture; a PNG with a transparent background looks best. Set how wide it is as a share of the photo, how strong it is, from faint to solid, and where it goes: a corner, the centre, or repeated diagonally across the whole picture. A preview shows the result; then make one photo or every photo you added, as a ZIP. The mark is sized to each photo, so a set of different sizes all get it in the same proportion, and each file is opened again and checked before it is offered.
How to use it
- Choose your photos, or drop them on the page.
- Pick Text and type it, with a colour; or pick A logo and choose the picture.
- Set Width, Strength and Where. The preview follows.
- Choose the format to save in, or keep the same one.
- Press Make all (or Make it for the photo shown) and download.
Limits and your data
- A watermark discourages copying; it does not prevent it. One in a corner can be cropped off, and determined editing can remove most marks. Repeated across the picture is the hardest to remove without spoiling the photo.
- Text is drawn in your system's standard sans-serif font; other fonts are not offered.
- The watermark is part of the picture once saved: keep your originals to make unmarked copies later.
- Watermarked photos are saved afresh, so the camera, time and location details of the originals are not carried over.
- Your photos and logo are combined in this browser tab and never uploaded to ToolsDev or anyone else. Nothing is kept after you close the tab; the page downloads only its own code.
Questions
What strength should I use?
Around 30–50% is visible without spoiling the photo. White text at 40–50% works on most photos; on very light pictures, use a dark colour.
Can I add the same logo to a hundred photos?
Yes. Add them all, set the logo once and press Make all. It is placed in proportion to each photo's width, so it looks the same on landscape and portrait pictures.
How do I type the © sign?
The text box starts with ©. On Windows, Alt+0169 types it; on a Mac, Option+G; on phones, it is among the symbols on the keyboard.
Can I watermark a PDF instead?
Yes, with Watermark PDF, which puts text or a logo on every page of a PDF.
