This tool turns a link, a Wi-Fi login, a WhatsApp chat, a phone number, an email or plain text into a QR code that any phone camera can read. The exact content of the code is always shown under the image, so you know precisely what you are handing out.

1. Choose what the code should do — open a link, join Wi-Fi, start a WhatsApp chat, call, text or email.
2. Fill in the details. The code redraws as you type.
3. Optionally change the colours or the error correction level. Higher correction survives smudges and print damage but makes a denser code.
4. Read the "This code contains" box to confirm the content.
5. Download a PNG for sharing or an SVG for printing at any size.

• A QR code holds roughly 2,000 characters. Long text becomes too dense to scan reliably; share a link instead.
• Light codes on dark backgrounds and low-contrast colours scan poorly on many phones. The tool warns you before you download one.
• Wi-Fi codes join the network on most modern Android phones and iPhones, but some older phones only show the password.
• Link codes accept only http and https addresses, so a code can never be made to run a script.
• The code is drawn in your browser. Wi-Fi passwords, phone numbers and messages are never uploaded or saved — but anyone who scans the code can read them, so print Wi-Fi codes only where you want guests to connect.

No. The content is stored inside the pattern itself, not on a server, so the code works for as long as the link or details it contains stay valid.

PNG is best for sending in chats or putting in documents. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, which is what printers want for posters and packaging.

Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name exactly as it appears, pick the security type (WPA covers WPA2 and WPA3) and enter the password. Guests scan it with their camera to join.

Scanners need strong contrast between the dark modules and the background, and most expect dark on light. Keep the foreground dark and the background light.
