About this tool

What it does

Price List Maker lays out a printed price list or rate card — the board in a salon, the tariff at a clinic or tuition centre, the rate list a shop hands to customers, or a services sheet to send on WhatsApp. Add your business name and contact details, then each item or service with its price, and optionally what the price is per (kg, hour, piece, session), a short detail and a heading to group it under (Hair, Skin, Bridal). Items with the same heading are printed together, in the order you first used each heading. Prices are held exactly, in whole paise, and printed with Indian digit grouping. You choose what to say about GST — that prices include it, that it is extra, or nothing — and the page does not assume a rate. Pick one of six templates and eight colours, A4 or Letter, then print it or save it as a PDF. Save a draft to update prices next season without typing it all again.

How to use it
  1. Enter your business name, and your address and phone if you want them on the list.
  2. Give the list a title and, if you like, the date the prices start.
  3. Add each item with its price. Type a heading to group items; a new item keeps the last heading.
  4. Choose what to say about GST and add any notes (timings, payment modes).
  5. Fix anything listed above the preview, then Print or save as PDF.
Limits and your data
  • Prices are rupees with at most two decimals. A price left empty prints as a dash; an item without a name is not printed.
  • The GST line is a statement you choose. If you are registered for GST, invoices still need the rate and tax shown on each line — use the GST Invoice Generator for those.
  • Long lists flow onto more pages, keeping each heading’s table together where it fits.
  • Everything stays in this browser; nothing is uploaded. Drafts are kept only when you press Save draft, on this device, and are in Export my data.

Questions

Do I have to show GST on a price list?

A price list is not a tax invoice, so no rate is required on it. It is still clearer to say whether prices include GST, which the GST setting does in one line.

Can I group services under headings?

Yes. Type a heading such as “Hair” on an item; every item with the same heading (capital letters ignored) is printed together, in the order headings first appear.

How do I share it on WhatsApp?

Press Print or save as PDF, choose “Save as PDF”, and send the file. On a phone, use the print screen’s Save to Files or Share.

Can I keep last year’s prices?

Save a draft named for the season, then change the prices and save it again under a new name. Both stay on this device.
